For the 2.6 GW Shuaibah PV Plant in KSA, ADVEC partnered with CESI to deliver advanced electromagnetic-transient studies as part of the project’s compliance scope. The team completed its full technical contribution in 2024, developing an aggregated PSCAD model, conducting a complete benchmarking assessment, and analyzing control-interaction behavior with high-resolution accuracy.
The project reached full closure after ADVEC delivered all assigned studies, confirming that the Shuaibah plant could meet the stringent stability, performance, and simulation requirements mandated by the Saudi grid operator. This work not only ensured secure integration of one of the region’s largest solar assets but also reinforced ADVEC’s position as a leading provider of high-complexity grid studies across the Gulf.
