ADVEC worked with Assystem on the 8 GW solar PV project in Tabuk (Phase II), a major milestone in KSA’s renewable program. The team completed its role in 2024, focusing on the design of interconnection facilities for the high-voltage network. The scope also included short-circuit checks, power-flow studies, protection-coordination analysis, and insulation-coordination reviews.
The project reached completion after ADVEC finalized every technical requirement, marking it as an accomplished assignment. ADVEC also shaped the layout of the high-voltage substation to meet national grid rules and the needs of utility-scale PV integration. This work strengthened ADVEC’s position as a strategic engineering partner for large solar developments in the Gulf.
