The scope of work was to develop a comprehensive grid code compliance study for a 40.5 MWp Selous PV power plant in Zimbabwe following the Zimbabwe grid code and technical requirements for interconnection new generation with the transmission system. The study included reactive power capabilities, voltage control, short circuits, load flow, power quality, and transient studies. The study has been developed using PSSE and DIgSILENT software packages. ADVEC has also conducted the protection coordination and relay settings study for all protection relays on the medium- and high-voltage networks. The study has been developed using ETAP software
