ADVEC commanded the engineering of SOPC, EMC, and Elsewedy SEDCO’s SPD project, combining technical mastery with operational excellence. The project remains active. ADVEC is carrying out the work in 2025. The engagement included SPD design, preparation of detailed drawings, development of BOQs, review of datasheets and specifications, and evaluation of the existing conventional lightning protection system, ensuring the facility’s electrical infrastructure meets the highest reliability and safety standards.
In addition to the technical scope, ADVEC delivered a focused training program for the clients’ engineering teams. The program covered LPS fundamentals, surge protection principles, SPD classifications, sizing methodology, and practical implementation guidance. This project illustrates ADVEC’s ability to combine rigorous engineering with knowledge transfer, delivering robust surge protection solutions that strengthen operational resilience across critical energy infrastructure.
