Solariz commissioned ADVEC to conduct comprehensive grid compliance and impact studies for a 5 MWp photovoltaic project within the Egyptian Refining Company (ERC) complex one of Egypt’s largest industrial energy consumers an ongoing project in 2025. The study included detailed short-circuit, load-flow, reactive-power, power-quality, and transient-stability analyses to ensure the solar plant’s integration with ERC’s existing electrical infrastructure.
Through close coordination with the local distribution company, ADVEC provided technical recommendations for connection configuration and grid protection settings. These findings supported regulatory approval and enabled ERC to advance its strategy of incorporating renewable generation into its high-demand operations.
