ADVEC collaborated with Taqa Arabia on the 2.5 MWp solar PV project in Soma Bay, an ongoing project in 2025, focusing on integrating renewable generation into a coastal grid with variable demand patterns. The team carried out detailed electrical analyses, including short-circuit, load-flow, reactive-power, and transient-stability studies, to ensure consistent performance under fluctuating conditions typical of resort and tourism zones.
Working in coordination with the local distribution authority, ADVEC provided technical recommendations to optimize voltage regulation and system reliability in the coastal network. The study supported the safe commissioning of the plant and strengthened the framework for deploying decentralized clean-energy projects in Egypt’s Red Sea region.
