Medium Voltage Switchgear Fire Accident

A RCA was conducted due to five significant accidents at a MV switchgear (MVSG) in 500/220/66/11kV GIS Substation. These incidents have endangered station workers, equipment, and facilities. The scope included a site survey and data collection, bay to bay contact resistance testing and detailed short circuit studies are simulated using ETAP software to analysis the failure root cause.- Date
